Karachi’s Moachko police, acting on a tip-off, recovered 253 mobile phones and 68 tablets from a passenger bus at the Moachko checkpoint and arrested two suspects, according to police. The devices were reportedly being moved from Balochistan to Karachi.
Hidden compartments found in the bus
Police said the smuggled mobile phones and tablets had been concealed in secret compartments made inside the bus.
Suspects identified by police
The arrested men were identified as Saeed Malik and Muhammad Ijaz. Police said further investigation is underway.
