Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) said on Saturday that parts of Karachi will face a gas supply outage during a scheduled 11-hour shutdown for maintenance work on a 24-inch Qatar mainline in the Shershah area. The shutdown is set to run from 10pm on Saturday, October 17, to 9am on Sunday, October 18.
Areas that may face low gas pressure
SSGC said the shutdown was planned during the period when domestic gas supply remains suspended, but any extension beyond the scheduled hours may cause low gas pressure in some areas.

- Ghaziabad
- Altaf Nagar
- Mehran City
- Ramzan Goth
- Site Industrial Area
SSGC apologized to consumers for the inconvenience during the maintenance work.
